Sustain and Refine Implementation: Networking Series

Creating and supporting an effective and efficient equitable, multi-level system of supports can be challenging. For teams to move from “letting it happen” to “making it happen,” intentional strategies need to be in place. This involves gaining district-level support, since district leadership is a significant predictor of sustained implementation (McIntosh, 2013).

This new series includes powerful content and evidence-based practices to help attendees use data, and create systems that both enable adaptive change and fully support all learners. Don’t miss the opportunity to network with other schools also engaged in the work.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a framework and proactive approach for assisting schools and districts, to build systems capacity for implementing a multilevel approach to social, emotional and behavior supports. PBIS improves social, emotional and academic outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities and students from underrepresented groups.
