I have been a Regional Technical Assistance Coordinator with the Wisconsin RtI Center since 2011.
In addition to my regular duties supporting schools, districts, and CESAs 6, 7, and 8, I am also involved with the Family Engagement Workgroup, Institutes of Higher Education Workgroup, and the Continuous Improvement Workgroup. I also connect with ELL, Family Engagement, and School Psychology stakeholders throughout the state.
Prior to joining the Wisconsin RtI Center, I was employed as a school psychologist for nine years in Northeast Wisconsin. As a school psychologist, I was highly involved in developing systems to identify students at risk for academic delays by using screening, progress monitoring, and curriculum-based measures. I worked with teams to coordinate academic, behavioral, and social/emotional interventions for students of all ages.
Throughout my career in education, I have served on RtI teams, pupil service teams, and literacy committees to develop, plan, and implement a multi-level system of support in order to help schools better meet the needs of ALL their students.
Professionally, I continue to be a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and obtained my Education Specialist Degree and Masters Degrees in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
